Zilgalvis Janis, The Study of Valmiermuila: History and Owners, Manor house and Closed Garden, 2019, vol. 15, s.38-49.

Valmiermuiia is situated in the north of Vidzeme and borders with the town of Valmiera. The manor is less known than its other outstanding "sisters", for example, manors of Mazsalaca (ValtenberAD, Cesvaine, Dikli and others. The most famous person among the owners of Valmiermuiia is Elisabeth von Hallart, who was an initiator of the movement of Brothers' congregations in Vidzeme, which turned into the wakening movement of common people.

Zignego Mario Ivan, Gemelli Paolo, A smart mockup for a small habitat, 2020, vol. 14, nr 2, s. 467-479.

The aim of this paper is to propose an innovative process in small habitats design based on the use of smart material and structures. Space flights represents the extreme challenge in design for long time life support systems, nevertheless a number of analogues of space mission exists: submarines, terrestrial explorations, supertankers, mountaineering, natural and built simulators, small remote community and Antarctic winter bases. The concept proposed here is based on the use of a mockup enhanced by the utilization of smart materials and smart structures that permits to track the user experience and consequently optimize shapes, volumes, lights, color and the others characteristics.

Zhang Nan, Zhao Xuejiao, He Xiaopei, Understanding the relationships between information architectures and business models: An empirical study on the success configurations of smart communities,2020, vol.37.

With the development of Internet of Things (IoT) and big data, many smart city and smart community projects bloomed in recent years. Following the two approaches of smart city development from Kuk and Janssen (2011), the study proposed a synergetic framework for understanding the relationship between information architectures and business models. Since community is a basic unit of a city, the development goals of a smart city are needed to be implemented at the level of communities.

Successful software products necessitate users' satisfaction when experiencing the use of the software. This is not only determined by the software functionalities and completeness, but also with the overall user experience when using the software product. Although user experience is widely adopted by practitioners and in industry, there is no scientific consensus on a definition or a theoretical model of UX. The dynamic nature of user experience is challenging both UX design and evaluation activities.

Wilson Rhonda Lynne, Usher Kim, Social media as a recruitment strategy: using Twitter to explore young people's mental health, 2017, vol. 25, nr 3, s. 36-41.

Background The development of a recruitment strategy requires nurse researchers to consider the avenues available to them to fully investigate a phenomenon. In many cases, this will mean that they invite members of the public to be participants in their research. Successfully advertising the research project to potential participants requires a targeted approach, so that the participants will contribute to a data set that is sufficiently representative and analysis will elicit answers to the research questions.

Shin Donghee, How do users interact with algorithm recommender systems? The interaction of users, algorithms, and performance, 2020, vol. 109.

Although algorithms have been widely used to deliver useful applications and services, it is unclear how users actually experience and interact with algorithm-driven services. This ambiguity is even more troubling in news recommendation algorithms, where thorny issues are complicated. This study investigates the user experience and usability of algorithms by focusing on users' cognitive process to understand how qualities/features are received and transformed into experiences and interaction.

Salaun Jean-Michel, The three Dimensions of a Document and its Reflexion on Library and Information Science, 2018, vol. 42, s. 351-356.

The document is analyzed in its three dimensions: the form, the content, and the mediation. The Web is understood as the manifestation of a new document sphere, which is more able to satisfy the challenges of a world in profound change. Apple, Google, and Facebook exploit either of the three document dimensions. The discipline of IA, Information Architecture" helps to develop new professional competencies which could contribute to an inevitable renewal of information sciences.

Resch Bernd, Zimmer Bastian, User Experience Design in Professional Map-Based Geo-Portals, 2013, vol. 2, nr 4, s. 1015-1037.

Resch Bernd, Zimmer Bastian, User Experience Design in Professional Map-Based Geo-Portals, 2013, vol. 2, nr 4, s. 1015-1037.

We have recently been witnessing the growing establishment of map-centered web-based geo-portals on national, regional and local levels. However, a particular issue with these geo-portals is that each instance has been implemented in different ways in terms of design, usability, functionality, interaction possibilities, map size and symbologies. In this paper, we try to tackle these shortcomings by analyzing and formalizing the requirements for map-based geo-portals in a user experience based approach.

Pradeep, Sundar, QAOC: Novel query analysis and ontology-based clustering for data management in Hadoop, 2020, vol. 108, s.849-860.

Bottleneck issues handled in the field of information retrieval are analysis of query and management of data storage. Hadoop is a large scale environment that is supported with larger storage and faster processing. Even though, it suffers from these challenging issues while the number of information requesters is higher. This paper addresses these two bottleneck issues in Hadoop by retrieving the information with the design of Query Analysis and Ontology-based Clustering (QAOC) architecture.

Iqbal Zafar, Anwar Zahid, SCERM-A novel framework for automated management of cyber threat response activities, 2020, vol. 108, s. 687-708.

Cyber Threat Management (CTM) involves prevention, detection, and response to cyber-attacks by identifying and understanding threats, and applying appropriate actions. This is not practical for an organization to perform these activities within the time-frame of an impending attack. Organizations should swiftly accumulate and share Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) with peers to make effective use of shared threat information.
